Just curious to hear if anyone else is running jet fuel in their CRD?

Do we take this to mean that you are? If so a)where did you get it and b) how does your engine run with it?

I am an aircraft mechanic so whenever we have to drain the tanks for maintenance it is considered waste that would be poured down the drain. It runs just fine with a little lubricating additive, it's basically kerosene.

It is a popular thing with aircraft mechanics.. They almost all drive diesels. I have met a few. It is like my WVO powered Jeep. I consider it a job benifit that I get to take the grease home with me. They get to take the old jet fuel home. One of the guys I meet had storage tanks like I have for grease except that he had jet fuel.

Even better job perk is gas station rebuilders they take home gas fuel.

2006 Liberty CRD -- Spare tire replaced with Veg tank, semi filter for veg, FPHE, Electric common rail line heater, fill vegetable oil tank every 3 days. ORM, EHM comes out in front of the passenger rear tire. Wife has new job and 20 mile round trip to work. I borrow her Jeep a lot and live in South Florida.
