Has anyone done a conversion to veggie???
I bought a CRD a month ago already with it done.
Currently having some hikups with it but in time it will get there

I have heard that the crd dose not do well with it not all disles run well on fryer oil

Most people heard that CRD's are s**ty vehicles. That break down a lot. My Liberty has almost 100k grease miles and runs better than most with 166k total miles. Did you not read "tank and conversion pictures" thread? The trick is good filtering and a quality conversion. I have an electric heater that heats the common rail, I believe this to be very important. Helps that I live in south florida also.

2006 Liberty CRD -- Spare tire replaced with Veg tank, semi filter for veg, FPHE, Electric common rail line heater, fill vegetable oil tank every 3 days. ORM, EHM comes out in front of the passenger rear tire. Wife has new job and 20 mile round trip to work. I borrow her Jeep a lot and live in South Florida.

the current system has 65k on it and the problem I am having currently is that air is being introducted into the vo fuel filter... and creates a die out after about 3 mins
I have yet to take it apart there are 2 pumps in my system; a vo pump and a boost pump.
my guess is that on of the lines is allowing air into the system before the vo filter.

I use almost no hose clamps because they are a week spot. Those are the first place to look for air leaks. And the hoses go bad.
