In Oklahoma, Right below Grand Lake Dam there is a big off road area. I dont remember the name of it but it's in Disney, OK.

They always have big events there and it is a lot of fun!! Mud pits, giant steep hills, trails, etc. They have a lot of rock crawlers there because below the dam it is really rocky with lots of small cliffs. A very good place to go....*for free*. It's a great place to go, can get a little crowded sometimes but thats only because it's so popular.

I plan on going there when I get back to Tulsa. I am in Virginia right now for my job but will be returning soon.

Hey they have shut down the Quartz Mountain OHV Part.. it's closed due to lack of funds and also they are only letting 4 wheelers and dune buggies down there..

Yep it is on the SW corner of Grand Lake I was just there about a month ago, its called Hogan's Off Road Park or most just call it Disney, but it is my favorite park. You can cruse through some water, climb rock, go on trail rides and there is a little bit of mud.

If you make it down there be sure to stop by Hogans garage, he operates and maintains the park, he is a pretty cool guy and he also runs a tow service and its $50 a call and his rigs are BEASTS! I think he had about 6 running when I was there and they were just about all on Mog axles.

Although not in Kansas or Oklahoma, there is an option close to both in Seymour, Missouri. It is Southern Missouri Offroad Ranch at phone 417-827-3952. Reportedly they have trails for all levels of vehicles and have family-oriented facilities.

Seymour is just a little East of Springfield, MO so reasonably convienent for those of us in Eastern Kansas and Eastern Oklahoma. One of my uncles from rural area outside St. Louis brought me an article on this place. Here's the article on-line. Sorry, don't know anyone who has been there.

FYI.

Hey guys, I just bought my CRD a couple weeks ago. I went to Tuttle creek yesterday and had tons of fun. If anyone wants to go there I would suggest not going on stock tires, I went through two yesterday. You guys should hit me up next time you go out to Tuttle creek because Im @ Ft.Riley so Im not far.
