Did you guys make it out to Tuttle. I want to see pics I have never been out there. I really wanted to go but wheeling 3 weekends in a row, I couldn't swing that with the wife. Hopefully I can make it out there this summer. Spring looks busy for me at KS Rocks.

ya we made it, it was pretty cool lots of snow and ice which made it a little harder making it up some obstacles. but here are the pics

Thanks again to JSC7002 for inviting me yesterday. It was my first time wheeling in the snow. We didn't realize that there was that much snow up north because there was none at home. With 0 degree wind chills it was hard to get a lot of pics. Most were hanging out of the window of the jeep. We also found out wheeling with ice isn't the easiest thing in the world. Most of our pics are from easier stuff because we didn't want to get stuck in the valley because of the extreme temps.

KsRocks are a little of everything. When it's dry most of the park is dry and quite rocky but it has some deeeeeeep mud holes. I ran with my club when I had the KJ and most are on 33's, with no problems on medium and some difficult trails when it was dry. When it is wet down there most of the easy trails become mediums or difficult. But either way you will have a good time.

We (Board of Directors) work very hard to make the park enjoyable for anybody that comes to the park. We provide maps, have a dedicated cb channel, clean restrooms, and other ammenitys. We have a trail difficulty guide that trails are marked with. We host 2 park sponsered events a year and have clubs that hold their events there.

If you give me a me a couple months notice I'll try and make it a weekend that I work the park. I will say we have a quite a few events coming up in the next few months. The next event is our biggest of the year and it's the last weekend in Feb. I will be posting more info on Frostbite '09 here in the next couple days. After that Brushbeaters is hosting the second of three Wheelers for the Wounded events. That's an event for wounded veterans. The first two events are fundraisers for the main event held later this year.

Sorry for the longwinded post but I am on the Board of Directors and a member of Brushbeaters, so I have to pimp the park out as much as I can. http://www.ksrockspark.com for all the info on Frostbite and info for Wheelers for the Wounded events at the Brushbeaters website (the first link).

Thanks for your intrest. And I hope to see you down there.

P.S. I've only seen a few KJ's down there. There was mine, another guy from lost, and a lady in the airforce. I love seeing the KJ's out on the trail.

We have a BOD meeting next week so I'll know more about when I work. I would think it would be sometime in late march or early april will be the next time I work. I do work Jan 3rd and 4th. But I'll post up when I know more. Look forward to seeing you on the trail.
