Kansas Rocks Park is hosting it's biggest event of the year Febuary 28th. This event has turned into a top notch event. There is even more to be had this year. I'm posting the flyer here but all the info can be found at www.ksrockspark.com. Last year there was over 400 people and if I remember right about 200+ rigs. Thanks for looking and I hope to see some more KJ's there.

good deal make sure you pre register. We start planning this event in Nov. to make sure it gets better every year. I'm looking forward to seeing your KJ. I really miss mine.

We are starting to post up some of the raffle items on Ksrockspark.com's forums.

If you have never been there it's worth going even without the raffle. We also will have annual passes in the raffle. So far our sponsers have ponied up a winch and someother stuff.

Hope to see you guys down there.

Just thought I would give you guys a sneek peek of the park. This is a video of our new and improved rock pile. Our playground is just outside of the parking lot so there is much more to see and do once inside the park.

I have an 89 XJ on 33" Rockers and 4" Rustys (I think). It's nothing major cheap custom tube bumpers, hacked open fenders,1 ton OTK steering. I've spent more money on maintence than upgrades. Oh well.

I don't think I will be wheeling at Frostbite I'm helping with trailor parking, lunch and probally clean up. I may not even bring it with me to be honest.
Here is a pic and if it's there it will probally be parked by the cabin and office.

Awesome I'll be out in the parking lot in the morning, so if I see your KJ I'll flag you down. I should have the XJ but I'm still kinda thinking about riding with a buddy so I can save me some gas money.

Those of you that didnt make Frostbite, be sure to catch it next year its lots of fun, cold but its still fun. You pretty much need a lift and skids are a DUH! I used my skids a LOT! But my lockers let me keep up with most of the other vehicles out there, I forgot to take my camera so sorry no pics but Ill post probably 5 pics of all the carnage I got from some of the trails. I broke a taillight and put a dent in right beside it, did another dint right beside the drivers side taillight, and did a HUGE dent all along the rear door on the drivers side.

I had to be winched once and it was by a Wrangler and my KJ was heavy and stuck enough that when he turned the winch on he was moving towards me, so he moved behind a tree and pulled me up, and when he got me up his tow hook was about a 1/2" into the tree.

Glad you could make it and had a good time. I'm glad I didn't drive my XJ yesterday. I wish the guy that winched you up knew how to winch somebody properly so he didn't screw up our trees but you can't watch everybody. Anyway I will say yours is one of the most built KJ's I have seen in person and wish I could have watched it on the trail.

Total number of rigs was just about 200. There were everything from brand new FJ Cruisers all the way to a jeep commando. A ton of rigs came out of the trails via a strap due too carnage. I saw a centering pin that was quite literally shot out of the diff cover. Quite a few axles that got broken and a lot of new scrapes and dents. We have some really tight trails so that's nothing new.

Thank for coming Joey and it was nice to meet you. Hopefully next time you are down I'll have the jeep ready and will be able to wheel.

Oh yeah I lost oil pressure last night on my way home. Looks like my tax time mods are out the window.

well in his defense he started out right but the KJ out weighed his TJ enough that the KJ would have pulled him down the hill had he not of moved to the tree and it didnt look like the tree was hurt too bad

He could have done that without digging into a tree. He should have had somebody strapped behind him or used a tree saver. Don't mean to be a buzz kill but gotta tread lightly.

On a crappy note my XJ laid down on me sat night. Got about a mile away from my friends that I rode with and noticed that I didn't have any oil pressure. Now I have lower end noise and no oil pressure. I'm trying to talk my wife into a Titan Engines 4.6L stroker. I could get it into my jeep for about 3400 bucks. This motor will put out about 260-280HP and 300+ ft/lbs TQ. We'll see what happens.
