Hey Parakeet how do you like your flowmaster 40? Does it sound good? Also guys I don't have 4WD so why would I attend trail events when I can't make it down em?

I just saw this post. For some reason I didn't get the email saying somebody responded. I loved it on my KJ it is a nice mellow sound at idle and not too bad at 3k rpm. I will say it got a little raspy at higher rpm but I think that is a 3.7 trait.

I am a huge fan of Flowmasters so I ended up putting a 40 series on my XJ too. I love the way it sounds on the XJ with no cat. Sounds like a small v-8 at idle and burbles like a banshee when you downshift. I think when I build my stroker for it I'm going with a smaller bodied Flowmaster.

And as for 2wd only, I would say if you want to come to an event meet up with someone and ride with them. After that you will want to get rid of the 2wd and get 4wd though. It's a bug that will bite you hard. Cause let me tell you it takes dedication to hack away at a bumper that your still paying for.

Lol, yeah I went the whole Flowmaster 40 series way. I got dual dumps, I have a video floating around here on the forums. It sounds nice! 8) It kinda reminds me of a small truck or so I think..

Lil Black, I've got a cabin down at Lugert and have family in Altus. Actually Kincannon funeral home is my families it's just a few blocks in from the College there. I make it down there more in the summer months and would love to meet up sometime we're down. You're more then welcome to come out to the Cabin and have a few beers and chill down on the lake with us when we're there. Or anyone else ever in the area for that matter.

Small world isn't it! lol

Yep, Ted and Marie are my Mom's parents and Gary is her brother (obviously). I guess if you did Gary's recently that must mean the new house is done. I haven't been down there to see it in a while.

Yeah I met Gary's son for the first time the other day quite a nice guy. But now I did not know that Ted and Marie had a daughter, interesting I'm gonna have to go see them again one day soon.

2 actually, Gary's the only boy. You must have met Kade their youngest, little scronny red head? He's one of the most level headed teenagers I know!

My daughter is planning to study architecture at OU this fall.

OU has a great program for architecture. Although we are working out of an old hobby lobby for now, while the architecture building is being remodeled. My advice to your daughter is to use her time wisely. It's very hard to keep a social life and be in studio every night. You get run-down pretty quick. Also taking 15+ hours can make it hell. Most of the students in my class take around 12-13 hours a semester including me. But I'm in no hurry to graduate

haha... yeah my fees this semester were $200 less than my tuition. :(
