Salt River Campground sounds nice -

However, the Mark Twain State Park (campground) sounds really nice.

I always prefer state or national parks over private campgrounds. Your thoughts?

Never camped in that part of the state so it doesn't matter to me either. How far away is Mark Twain State park ? It does look nice and might have a little more space between campsites.

That is quite aways to drive every morning.

Yeah. I obviously didn't realize that. I only mentioned it because one of those private camp grounds stated on their website they border the state park. I forget which one? 30 miles is too far regardless.

Sounds good to me. We will only have one tent.

Thanks for the legwork Jayme. I'll take one tent spot (just one tent).
