Salt River Campground sounds nice - http://www.hikercentral.com/campgrounds/125197.html However, the Mark Twain State Park (campground) sounds really nice. http://www.mostateparks.com/twainpark/camp.htm I always prefer state or national parks over private campgrounds. Your thoughts? |

Never camped in that part of the state so it doesn't matter to me either. How far away is Mark Twain State park ? It does look nice and might have a little more space between campsites. |

Yeah. I obviously didn't realize that. I only mentioned it because one of those private camp grounds stated on their website they border the state park. I forget which one? 30 miles is too far regardless. |

Sounds good to me. We will only have one tent. |

Thanks for the legwork Jayme. I'll take one tent spot (just one tent). |
