Mntluver and I are going up to Tuttle for a day. Anyone else want to go? The weather is finally warming up and we are ready to hit some trails. So far there will be three jeeps and one truck. It is a little over two hours from Wichita and can't be much farther from Omaha. Hope to see some of you there. :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN:

I just realized that Brushbeaters (the jeep club I'm part of) will be out there the same day. You may want to go to Brushbeaters.com for company. They are a great group of guys to wheel with.

I've been looking forward to getting out and wheelin' my Liberty. Anyone else within driving distance of Manhattan, KS interested in joining kskj, 2 other vehicles and I?

Way too muddy. It poured down rain all morning so we really could not get in to the back of the park. We crossed the second ravine and tried to go around a rock ledge and got into some slick black mud that was on the hillside. You could not drive through it. The jeep just slide sideways all the way down the hill into the trees. The only way we got out was drive through the evergreen trees and back down the ravine. And I mean through the trees I was completely under it. You could not even stand up in the mud. I felt bad about going off trail but we did not have any control of were the jeep went. The trees kept us from rolling down in the ravine. So it was not much fun we left early went to the park to a covered picnic table for lunch. we will try again this summer after it drys up lot.
