Yeah, it’s really good BBQ. I think it’s some of the best in KC. The guy who owns it asked my brother-n-law to manage it. My brother-n-law’s family owns a few restaurants including “Burnt End” in Kansas City. Burnt End just won first place in the world championship for best BBQ sauce. And since my brother-n-law manages BackFire, I believe BackFire is using Burnt End’s BBQ sauce as one of their selections. I’ve been in the cooking room of BackFire and seen their insanely high dollar smoker. This smoker is huge, I mean HUGE. They smoke massive amounts of meat and beans all day long. I called my sister last night and told her that I wanted reservations for all of us at BackFire. I confirmed 4:00 with her today.

Wife got that Sunday (the 23rd) off work, so she will be with me. Everyone still showing up? Can't wait to meet everyone :) Haven't been to any Jeep meets since I got back to MO. Guess I better get the ol girl all shined up & ready :JEEPIN:

KJ_WHEELER_2010, I’m glad to hear that your wife can make it. We should have a good number of people this year. Our numbers keep growing. I will need to firm up the numbers so I can make reservations. There are a few people who are “planning” to attend who haven’t posted up.

We will be there but Probably won't be in the jeep. I has a strange new noise above 40MPH. Have not had time to find out what it is. Last time i had it to KC It left me stranded on the side of the road. So don't think I'll be taking any chances.

So Rhett, I would just plan on My brother and I from Wichita. I know Craig and his dad are coming. Scott Will be there but i don't know if he is bringing anyone. Oh, Chris Canary from Kansas Rocks is planning on making it. I will send out some EMails and see if they are bringing anyone with them.
