Has anyone had their scan gauge just shut off after the vehicle is on for about a half hour? It comes back, on then flickers off again after a minute or less and during the time it comes back on it receives no info from the vehicle. It continues to come back on and off until the vehicle is shut off and turned back on again. I feel it is a something heating up electrically. I was hoping after I fixed the stuck EGR valve it would go away, but no luck. At least the P0401 code is gone now...

That's not a bug - it's a feature...... :)

There's an ISO protocol for network standards - it says you're only allowed to have one master controller on a system - the other controllers have to respond to it...
Well - VM Motori - because their engine was designed to be used anywhere - put a master in their software...
Jeep - because they designed most of the software for their system - designed in a controller for it...
When they merged the 2, the proper response would be to rewrite one of the programs to acknowledge the other...........no such luck - that would have cost engineering resources and Money - one thing Jeep did not want to do was spend money on this test - they wanted quick and dirty...ssssooooo they did quick and dirty and designed in a virus - that shuts down one of the systems after the engine's been running - typically about 20-30 minutes

you have to turn the engine off/on to reset...... Welcome to CRD land

Thanks a bunch! Now I don't have to look all over for some sort of electrical problem!
