Ok... Reading phase went fine. Sent the bin to Yeti and now I'm waiting what happens.

Program worked well and that was quite easy to use.

Just received my v13.02 cable w/disc.
Running XP Pro in a sloooow ridiculous mini-laptop, but it works and loads normally.
However, when I go to open, I'm getting message "Mpps Firmware Upgrade". It's asking for "Mpps Version" and "Serial No.".

The version is obviously 13.02, but nowhere was any Serial # included in the packaging or on the included disc.
Thoughts?

Thanks!

you need kess v2 programmer

the software present in the first page is only for the KJ

I can delete EGR ,DPF, TVA and Swirl plus much more torque and hp on the WK

you only need to instal it and follow the instruction , , is well if you can use a battery charger when you read and write the ecu , always do an ECU Id for first , than read the ecu .

I do not remember if the wk have an idraulic fan or an e-fan , if you have an E-fan like the JK you need to unplug , first of writing the ecu , because during the writing process the E-fan is energised and drain more current and can dangerous disturb the process

Thanks, G-nado; "run as admin" got me going.
Before plugging into the beast I'm gonna re-review this entire (and all other) flash-threads, take copious notes, and move forward with as solid a grasp as possible of this procedure and available flashes. I can't afford to make a stupid mistake that compromises my ECU and cripples my jeep...

How long does it typically take to install a flash? I'm guessing it depends how many parameters you're adjusting (computer speed is also in play). A ballpark average-time would be helpful.

Regarding folks advice to hook a charger to the battery while performing flashes, I suppose why not. I'm quite curious if anybody has actually lost power during a flash procedure due to a depleted battery.
Given that I recently established that you can drive a CRD for 1.5 hours* on solely a fully-charged battery (serp removed) before stalling, it's difficult to imagine the current-drain from only the (ignition-on, no?) ECU would pose much danger. Further, I presume that people go for a test-drive after each flash, thereby recharging the battery between experimental flashes.

Again: How long does it typically take to install a flash?
Thanks!

*day-driving w/ no beams/runners, but with a Kennedy electric fuel pump.

With my laptop, flashing takes about 5 minutes.

I would hazard a guess that it's the same for any other, since the speed bottleneck is the ECM communication interface.
