on win 10

install like administrator the v12 and the v13 that is an update

manually install the driver like administrator

disable the windows pop up that appear each time you run an app

and disable antivirus and internet

if you have trouble contact me and I can check the installation via teamviewer
This worked, thank you!

I've upgraded the turbo and now I'm making more boost, which is a good thing since the increased airflow has cut down on the black smoke.

Can someone please help me to bump up the overboost value in the ECU so that it doesn't go into limp mode? I'm using Titanium, but don't know where to modify these values.

Thanks!

If you are getting overboost problems, your MAP sensor is most likely bad and giving ECM incorrect boost pressure readings?
Or the turbo vanes are sticking?
I would replace it first with a GM MAP sensor and see what you get.
GM PN: 55206797
New GM PN: 55568175
IDParts sales the GM sensor.

I have the GM sensor and it's working fine. I'm purposefully making more boost because of the increased fueling. It runs the way I want it right now.

I've gotten the ECU to stop throwing a MIL, but it will still go into limp mode, and I know it's because the boost is above some threshold.

User JWARREN made mention of raising it somewhere back in page 40 or something. I would like to know how it's done. Thanks.

If the ECM sees boost rise above a certain pressure, it will put the vehicle into limp mode, been there done that.
The GM MAP sensor is good for the following parameters.
- 0.2 - 3.0 bar (44psi) Pressure Sensor for air
- -40 - 130 deg C Temperature sensor for air

What the exact setpoint in the ECM software that trips the overboost I am not sure of. I believe it is above about 28-30 psig?
Yeti might could tell us the exact trippoint?

Is there a tune with cold temperature fast idle? I'm planning to go on 811 stage 2.
It's -21°C this morning. The jeep starts unpluged on remote starter but did not heat until I step in and go on the road.

According to the McNally boost gauge, 21-22 psi won't cause limp mode, but 23-24 psi will.

It would seem that the sensor reports (and the ECU operates) in absolute value, because the DRBIII reads the ECU boost value as 14.x psi at idle (no boost from the turbo).

Again though, knowing the setpoint is not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for the location in the ECU of *where* that value is set and how to change it in Titanium.

Thanks!

Do I need specifically the MPPS V13.02 or can I go with the latest version? Right now it appears to be to be at v21 already.

Check out this video on YouTube University. It helps to slow down the YouTube playback speed so you can follow along easier. I used playback speed 0.25 and paused and backed up many times. It got me up and running MPPS on Windows 10.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j936j7g44Og

[EDIT] IT'S THE NEXT DAY NOW AND MPPS IS NOT WORKING ANYMORE ON WINDOWS 10. SOMETHING ELSE IS WRONG.
[EDIT] NEVER MIND, ITS WORKING AGAIN. I DIDN'T HAVE THE MPPS CABLE INSTALLED. :banghead:

Not sure if also enabling VT on the CPU in BIOS had anything to do with it. I had to enable VT to run Oracle's VirtualBox. In the end I never used VirtualBox because that video helped me get MPPS running on Windows 10.

Dean.

Out of all the tunes listed at the beginning of this thread which one is both an EGR delete as well as fuel mapping for best fuel economy? I’m sure I could read though the hundreds of pages for this thread and would find the answer, but figured I’d just ask here and hopefully get a reply soon. Thanks gents.

Depends on which version of software you have on your ECM as to which tune will fit your needs. You must first read your ECM using an MPPS cable and software to find out which version you currently have on your ECM. The instructions as to how to perform this is covered earlier in this thread on this forum.

You can PM or email Marco aka "Yeti" on this forum and he can supply you with a custom tune to fit your needs.

Hi guys!

I have 1037377524P53362K4 in my binary (and 1037377516 chrysler file no').
I can't understand what should I do with my 524 binary (on 516 as MPPS said). Is this ECM upgraded before?

This version isn't listed in ECM Titanium as well of my lucky luck. (:
Can I use 516 (or another) driver for 524 fw?

I've seen just one person with this problem (all over internet.zip!!), his nickname speli on this forum, but it was all about egr\fcv and related dtc remove. by Yeti. that's all information about.

can anybody help me which driver should I use with my firmware version?
what should I do?

so I am strongly confused what should I do with my 524 version (my wish is editing tables to get maximum economy and lowering the torque on low RPM for saving gearbox and lower noises on staying without driving on D).

thanks a lot !

Greetings, After much reading searching etc. And I realize this is an old thread. My current state is I have purchased the MPPS cable installed it on a Win 10 laptop works fine. Connected to 06 Jeep Liberty CRD it pulled version 808. (Jeep is all stock, new to me and was a garage queen) I have Downloaded all the drop box tunes for 808. I trying to find a bin file editor like ECM Titanium, I find that they do not currently support that vehicle nor can I find any editor currently available. I really want to have a look at the files to understand where changes are being made. I'm not new to diesels nor to tuning, been playing with Subaru tunes for awhile. Maybe someone has an older version of ECM Titanium laying around? Or a suggestion on direction to read and understand the .bin files. Thank you, this Forum has been very useful in getting this Jeep back on the road.

Reach out to Marco aka "Yeti" on this forum, he is the ECM tuning expert and can guide or provide you with whatever needs you have when it comes to custom programming the ECM.
memberlist.php?mode=email&u=42474
He can also be reached over on Facebook.
Many Jeep & CRD owners are running his custom tunes including myself; I have been running his Stage IV Hot Tune continuously since 2014 and it totally "Rocks"!

As to Titanium I can send you a zipped copy of ver. 6.16 if you would like, I have it on file. PM or email me using one of the buttons below this message.
