Do I go by MPPS file no. or WordPad no.?
I've been reading on the DIY programing for awhile. I have a 2005 June production CRD and I jumped into programming it awhile back without thinking

but I just copied one of the 811 tunes made. I thought I followed the procedure saving the original tune in several areas.

Anyway I put the original back on and it's been running rich, timing is dead on. I double checked the software and the file no. that shows is 1037375603 in MPPS but when I open it in WordPad it shows a 1037380811. So my thinking is that I corrupted my original when I loaded the 811 tune. The jeep runs fine with original loaded back on, lag off the line and smokes a bit.

There are not too many 603 id's mentioned so I'm not sure which way to go. Do I go by the MPPS file no. or by the WordPad number? If I do have the 603 can I use the Sir Sams 603 pre37 and write that to my ECU and then start over?
Okay after re-reading I did a file comparison in dos between the 811 oem stock and mine FC:no differences encountered
I have no idea why the MPPS would post one number and the binary would have another.
Owning this Jeep is at times very frustrating. (hoping to get VW mileage and have a 4x4 that's the shape of a box

maybe I'm asking to much)
So I am clear to use any of the 811 tunes that have been so graciously offered.

I've taken so much from this forum and I wish I could contribute more.
I have a new TC so I'm going for Yeti's Stage 2 (your english is awesome by the way!! I do read it with an Italian accent

) Thanks again.
