That's not a bug - it's a feature......
There's an ISO protocol for network standards - it says you're only allowed to have one master controller on a system - the other controllers have to respond to it...
Well - VM Motori - because their engine was designed to be used anywhere - put a master in their software...
Jeep - because they designed most of the software for their system - designed in a controller for it...
When they merged the 2, the proper response would be to rewrite one of the programs to acknowledge the other...........no such luck - that would have cost engineering resources and
Money - one thing Jeep did not want to do was spend money on this test - they wanted quick and dirty...ssssooooo they did quick and dirty and designed in a virus - that shuts down one of the systems after the engine's been running - typically about 20-30 minutes
you have to turn the engine off/on to reset...... Welcome to CRD land
