Then, when everything is in place, torque the cam sprockets per FMS specs:

Remove the pins from fly wheel and cams, test your timing for few complete turns and you’re good to go.
Make sure you let the air out before you start (air out the filter), and after few spins and if you didn’t forget to hook up a sensor of effed up something else the engine will start.

Are you suggesting to try starting it and let run for a few seconds (to make sure things are right) before finishing putting everything else back together?

You should first turn the engine by hand, clockwise, to make sure it doesn't get stuck due to misalignment of the engine. Then, if it turns smooth, it's safe to attempt cranking the engine.

I'm getting ready to do this job. Any chance of getting the images reloaded, or is there an alternative write-up that I can follow somewhere else? This seems like the best I've found so far, but the pictures would really help!

Sorry. Don't have any pics. But the factory service manual is helpful and can be downloaded.

Basically, you follow all the same procedures for replacing the timing belt and water pump. Then pull out the injectors, unbolt the fuel rail, remove the intake elbow, and unbolt the intake manifold.
Label the injectors so they go back into their original holes and label all the wiring connectors so they don't get mixed up.
There are two alignment pins for the intake manifold. Don't loose them.

Getting the intake manifold back on can be a little difficult. It's very easy to knock a rocker out of place when doing so.
I found some long bolts the same size as the intake manifold bolts, cut the heads off, and used them to help guide the intake manifold back on.
