mpps do not work on it ,you need a Galletto v54 or other tool , if is fuel problem normally the engine shut off , I think is turbo problem or DPF , where normally who delete it , delete the proper DTC

Hi Yeti!

Hope all is well, I was wondering if you have a tune for a 516 file. Im looking for one with some power increase and DTC delete for EGR and FCV. It has been a while since I have done any mods and was looking for a file already done.

Thanks,

Nick

Does anyone have a working tune for a 516 file? I have already deleted the DTC's for the EGR and FCV from a file I have, but I am looking for some performance increases. I don't have all the necessary software anymore make the changes myself, and I can't see buying a tune... Hopefully a member has something to share :)

Thanks,

nicktb

Just read through most of this thread. Got a CRD down in Belize. Ordering the Weeks kit to remove the ERG. Will be traveling down there, in August, to remove the EGR

Need some help in making sure I understand what I will need to flash the bypass codes into the ECU.

Is the MPPS cable, from the beginning of this thread, still the best option? When I go on ebay, there are later versions (V16 vs. v13). Some are bluetooth, etc... I'd prefer to keep it simple and go with the v13+ cable.

It appears there is a disk that comes with most of these cables. Is the Titanium software required in addition. If so, is this something can needs to be purchased or can I get it free? What about the WinOLS? Is that necessary as well?

Thanks,
Bill

Titanium and WinOLS is not included. You can find them on the net for free but you'll need to find the drivers to be able to read the ecm bin file on titanium and it seems to only work on Windows XP. I could never figure out how to run winols so I cant help there.

Titanium is not required to re-flash
I have no experience with the later versions of MPPS, because as far as I know, everyone on here that has tried them report that they don't work. I used the one specified on page 1 of this thread. It worked fine.

I tried Nick's 808 EGR/FCV delete + (some) HP tune (vers 1.01),

I am still getting a CEL with p0d00.
I have tried multiple times.

Thats not an actual code.
What are you using for a code scanner? It doesn't seem to be communicating properly.

Hi Guys, wondering if someone could help. European KJ which had a non start issue. ECU was reworked by a specialist - now starts but smoking badly! I've taken off a copy of the map with MPPS. Is there anyone who could have a look at it for me? I've spoken to them and they are adamant the map is right!

Thanks in advance.

Mike

I am having issues using the MSSP program with my laptop(Windows 10, dell) I can get the v13.02 program to open, but it cannot find my cable. I'm using the same cable and software as shown in the first post. Ran it as an admin, in windows 7 and XP mode, unplugged and repluuged the cable while the program was up or before, with the jeep on and off. It is a 2005 CRD liberty, I'm also looking for a fuel economy tune if one is available here. There is another 2005 and some 2006 jeeps here I could try testing on if that would be a good idea.

Seems using an old windows XP desktop got the program to work. For now, I'm just going to put a stock EGR/FCR delete on it, I've looked through some of the posts, still looking for an fuel economy tune if one is around. EDIT: Program works fine, shows voltage, knows when the cable is connected, but it cannot connect to the ECU to read it
