Have you gone in and cleared the codes since last working on it?

I've been having trouble with loading the Yeti 808 tune. I used the mild tune per Yeti's suggestion, but I cannot get the P0403 to clear. I have been driving it this way for over a year now and would really like to get the CEL turned off. As I understand it, the Yeti 808 tune with EGR and FCV delete should remove the P0403 DTC, correct?

What am I doing wrong?

P0403 DTC Is not removed from the Yeti 808 tune.

I understand there are people in here that have and use editors like Titanium. I'm pretty surprised someone of them hasn't fixed that and tossed in an edited version of it.

I've edited just about every one of the 808 tunes to delete p0403 just so I didn't have a check engine light but didn't want to step on anyone's toes uploading them though

Yes, multiple times. I have also driven it for over a year since my last tune and it is persistent. I'll be "borrowing" a tune from someone to see if it clears up the issue. Thanks!

So I got my mpps v13 but it came with a cracked disc. I found the software and drivers online. When I plug the cable into the jeep and hit F1 to ID the ecu it says ECU not found. It is showing the voltage. Also since this thread was started such a long time ago it appears the softare doesn't work with new Windows unless running with a virtual drive that has an older windows on it. Am I missing something or am I going to have to take the ECU out and bench test? Also does this program give you error codes?

Is the key turned to 'on' position? Should be key on, engine not running.

Just wanted to throw this out here...

This is the unit I used for R/W on my 07 3.0 CRD. I had an issue with the drivers, but when I contacted the seller, he emailed me the updated drivers and it worked fine. I use Windows XP3 since that's the same computer I have my Cummins, Detroit and CAT software on.

Can you upload your stock file so I can take a look, sounds like you have the "808" version but want to be sure.

Can anyone shed some light on why I'm getting a message requiring a firmware upgrade when I open the newly-installed TOAD program? I tried running the program as administrator, which was suggested early in this thread, but it doesn't help. I'm also getting an error message when I click the start button on the upgrade dialog box. It says "An error occurred while deleting file (null). The system cannot find message text for message number 0x12f9d0 in the message file for SETUPAPI.dll. (error #1243600)."

So far I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, in addition to running as admin, but haven't yet found a way around this.

Thanks for any help -

I had the same thing happen to me. I had the cord plugged in, computer recognized it. Downloaded the drivers, computer showed it worked. After I installed the TOAD program, then I got that error message on first start up. Then the cord disappeared all together from my device manager. So did the cord corrupt?

I relooked up the one I bought on eBay, and scrolling through the makes and models it supposedly worked for Jeep was not listed. The recommended MPPS cord to buy on eBay, that seller is all out of stock? I'm dying to drive my baby after my Weeks Stage 1 kit (ok I've driven it about 10 miles total, but don't want to put too many miles on it with the CEL on), so I'd like to get out of this limbo sooner than later. I'm all ears for recommendations.

I'm currently looking into returning the cord via eBay.

Ahh, you're right. Ok. Hmm so why did my computer forget that it recognized the cord and now no longer does? I'm trying to figure out why the two won't talk to eachother and I get that error message?

Well I’m in the same boat cause I get the same message and also get an ECU not found error. I’m still trying to figure this out myself.

Ok as a follow up, I see my cable is recognized. After installing the driver, it moved from "Other" in Device Manager to under USB Controllers.

I'm going to try and reinstall the programmer part now. I am running a Windows 10 laptop. I know I've seen hit or miss results from others with W10. So I could just be another tally for the "miss" column.
