Finely got around to loading and testing the latest mod Marco sent me this evening, WOW! Much more power and no DAT’s with the EGR & FCV completely gone and unplugged.
I can even make the TC slip or chatter with the overdrive locked out.
This is a very high performance tune!!! It Rocks!!!!
This thing has gobs of power!!! Must take it easy on it till I get the new Suncoast TC.
I would call it Stage II or Hot tune.

Squeeto, I will send you a copy, to post. It is for 05's.

Is this all done by Marco or do you also have a part in it? I am trying to credit the tuners in this thread.

torque on A/T for every gear

it's not the maximum torque that the CRD can give , but a compromise of fuel gain and power

for WWDiesel , the only DTCs delete in you'r map that i have see it's for EGR and FCV , but im not sure , because i have compared with Nick map

Thank you for the information! So this looks like both a horsepower/torque gain and a MPG gain as well? What results have you seen for MPG?

As soon as I get my cable in I will be posting MPG results for all builds for 808 builds. I have a pretty consistent drive to work every week so I will be testing builds with each fill up and posting my MPG results with each. Though I will say have not done the torque converter upgrade, so any builds with full torque I will not be testing at this time.

Thanks
Grant

Marco provided the Stage II Hot Tune to test. I am assuming he did the map modifications.

To give some credit to others who helped for had it not been for them we would not be where we are today.
Toy_VW first started me down this path by getting me to purchase the interface cable off the internet and sending me the MPPS software to read and load different tunes. He sent me a couple of mods of my original file for testing.
I believe Nick did the most of the mod work on getting rid of the EGR/FCV DAT's with those devices unplugged and removed. Tested two different mods from Nick.
Marco's tune added some additional hp and torque improvements. :ROTFL:

Marco also informed me there is a Stage III very Hot Tune
My poor TC cannot handle what is has got now let along even more hp and torque.
Suncoast is about to get some more money!!!!

Hey Guys,

I got my cable in today, and after fighting both the software and not connecting it to my Liberty correctly I finally got the following tune flashed to my CRD:

Yeti's 808 ECU/FCV delete + Mild tune (vers 1.01)

Right after I flashed my Liberty I went a filled up my tank and had the following stats:

Miles: 433.3
Gallons: 19.297
MPG: 22.5

Initial impressions, my Liberty seems to start smoother but it could be the warm weather we are having today, I have only had my Liberty since January.

I will post my other finding as I put more miles on the Liberty and I will also post my next fill up results as well.

Thanks
Grant

Hi Yeti,

you have an newer 2,8 CRD with 163HP, or?

So i think, your files will not work on my 2003 Export CRD which have 150HP ? :?:

yes i have a 2.8 crd with 163 hp , and no it's not compatible , if you want , you can sand me your original file and i'll watch it , let me know what mod you want , and if I can , I realize for you , for what i know a 2003 , do not have the FCV , and the EGR can simply block , closing a vacuum out near the vacuum reservior ,let me know if you want some improvement

No, totally different. You have an EDC15C2 ecu and your file size is only half of any of the tunes on the first page.

Ok I've done about 60 miles on Yeti's tune and here are my first couple of impressions:

1st. Starts and shuts off the diesel engine much smoother, I always found it really rough the way the engine started and stopped
2nd. Feels like more boost at low rpm than before
3rd. I can keep it low rpm easier and I feel like I'm keeping up with traffic just fine

Overall so far I'm happy with the performance, but I'm about getting the most MPGs out of my CRD more than power, we'll see what the results are at my next fill up.

-Grant
