probably they do not deactivate the egr well , if you do in right mode and leave all wiring harnes plugged , you do not have a DTC even with a plate , the DTC delete is needed if you unplug the electrical wiring

I had a P0403 code on my '05 CRD so I installed Nick's 811 EGR/FCV delete + Stage 1 tune. Code is gone now, but the EGR monitor is not showing readiness. Will the monitor show as ready after driving for a few days or do these tunes deactivate the EGR readiness monitor?

Hello all is there anyone native to the San Diego area that has done any of this ECM re-tuning ? I am very interested in reflashing my ECM. My liberty just popped the p0401 and p0299. I know that I have a laundry list of things to check, however I was already planning on doing the EGR delete. I realize that this thread has very complete instructions for the DYIer and the tools required are less than 20$. Unfortunately my household had switched completely to Apple devices years ago so I would have to buy a new computer IOT to utilize the cable and software. I am willing to put down some cash if anyone has the resident knowledge and gear to help me out in the local area. Thanks for reading.

You have a 526 file.
Back at the 1st post on page one there is a single 526 file for you to try.
Otherwise, contact Yeti or Squeeto

Just started this last night. In wordpad got 1037377526P53362K4 as the file I downloaded from the ecu.... https://www.dropbox.com/s/plib7l67xnnqm ... 7.Bin?dl=0 is my original file I pulled from the Jeep.
Saved my file and tried Greybeast's 526 EGR/FCV delete - stock.
Still getting A check engine light. Any suggestions on how to clear it?

It would help to know exactly what codes you are getting.

After driving it and no codes... Drove it to work and a code on the innova 3150b. Chrysler/jeep transmission 28 DTC Then when I Get home the same code and 00 transmission DTC. Installed the software for the Innova. Get Chysler Tranmission Current DTC 40 and 512.

After messing with it a bit.
Get MIL DTC
P0403

Stored DTCs
P1267
P1261
P1140

Pending DTCs
P1267
P1261
P1140
P0403

Either your innova is having a problem erasing codes or there is an error in the tune file you downloaded.

P0403 is EGR
P1140 is FCV
P1261 and P1267 are glow plug faults

Contacted Yeti for a tune and ordered me some new Glow plugs form The green spark plug. Never changed them as the jeep never gave me a starting problem even down to negative 18F for the one year I was In Pennsylvania. Most of the jeeps life as been in Alabama, hence an easy start. In other words the original ones are still in... My CEL light has been on for so many years I never worried about it till now. Maybe next week will have this sorted....

IF you indeed have the 811 firmware, I would try the 811 EGR/FCV delete + Stage 1 first and if you encounter NO TC shudder, try the 811 EGR/FCV delete + Stage 2 and see if your stock TC can handle it.
Some members have reported NO shudder with some of the milder tunes! :|
Some TC's will actually tolerate a little more torque & HP, while others just plain cannot handle it!

A little shudder can be controlled by your right foot if you learn how to drive smart and use the OD lockout button on the gearshift when you first feel it start to happen.
Of course, best bet is to upgrade the TC with a better one like a Hemi, SunCoast, or one of the others some on LOST have suggested. If you replace TC, be sure and replace front pump assembly at same time while you got the tranny out.

Hi everybody ,,, im a new crd owner and am looking to reflash my ecu. It is a 2006 liberty and it has the 516 firmware. I was wondering if there is a tune available for the 516 as i didnt see any in the first page. I would like to delete egr/fcv a little horsepower and some fuel milage. Or would some other fimware work in it?

Are you sure it is a 516 version? There has been some questions in the past concerning this number....

See page 21 of this thread!
the 526 version may work for you?
you may want to contact Yeti or one of the other tuners on this forum for help and advice....

On the 1st post of this thread it mentions some language about if you have "5V plugs you can use any of these tunes". What if one has oem 7v plugs still installed? Do I need to convert to 5V plugs prior to using any of these tunes?

NO change or conversion necessary; the tunes are programed for the original (OEM) 7v gp's...
What they are saying in the language is, if your vehicle has been updated to the newer 5v gp's, the tunes are programed for the OEM 7v and will operate the 5v gp's just fine...

Looks like my glow plug question was answered by WWDiesel's post immediately above while I was typing this up, so this is a late edit of my original post. Just one question hanging out there for right now:

I read the descriptions of what Yeti's tunes do, but didn't see descriptions for Nick's tunes. What I'm mainly looking for are descriptions of the changes as well as the aggressiveness of each tune compared to the others - 'Stage 1' or 'Mild Tune' doesn't tell me a lot about what it actually does, though I did note the torque figures quoted in some of the filenames. Are there any descriptions available that give a fuller picture of what the changes are?

Also, does anyone have a preferred seller on Amazon / eBay / Aliexpress, etc. for the MPPS cable & software? I don't particularly care if it takes a few days to get here from China, but do want to get exactly what I need in one shot.
