Hi All

Thanks for the great info/help so far

I have the 525 file - original - see dropbox link - from my Chrysler Jeep Cherokee 2.8L CRD Bosch EDC16CP31 K-Line/CAN - manual gearbox

https://www.dropbox.com/s/6h1bttrjcx54v ... 7.Bin?dl=0

Was wondering if anyone can edit the file and remove EGR/FCV for me please or let me know where in ECU Titanium i can edit these two
feel free to add this file to the original list or copies of it.

Thank you
Clyde

Egr is not a problem on gasoline powered rigs, it is used as an octane boost so to speak, without egr the in cyl's temps get higher and you have to either pull back timing or re tune to add more fuel and switch to a higher octane. The old Toyota v6 that use to crack heads and blow gaskets, I found the problem to be a non properly functioning egr.

As far as I know, the .bins have both manual and automatic transmission tables (maps).
Yeti (or anyone) is the tune for an automatic different from a manual or does the transmission controller tell the ecu which map to use?

there is only 7 torque limiter ..automatic or manual , and change in torque management and torque permitted during shifting ,plus different gear ratio for every gear and DTC table for automatic transmission

What I mean to ask is will perthcheetah's 525 bin file work on both automatic and manual transition vehicles?
I think that it will but I just want to be sure.

Hi Yeti I had purchased the weeks stage 1 and 2 kit from Seth back in August. I am just getting to install it next week march 12.
I noticed the kit is no longer available but dont see any reason not to install it.
My question to you is am I best to go with the DIY ecu flash after doing this kit? I have trouble with the FCV and this is reason for doing the kit. One last question is do I have to order the cable on ebay from China? take a while. Thanks for any help

most of the free tune here have not the dtc delete and is a sketch to spur people to studie and DIY , if you want a custom tuned file that can take care of the transmission etcc and completly delete the EGR and FCV contact me in PM here or on my FaceBook page , you can finde the mpps cable on ebay or amazon for a fast shipping

not sure , probably if you load a manual transmission in automatic you have problem and error , if you load an automatic transmission file in a manual .....and you do not know how to edit the torque management............you lose power due to the high limitation in automatic trans file

Okay, no problem. Easy question to answer if a 525 automatic bin makes it my way.
For now I will just make a note of this on the first page.
