So today i parked the crd in some mud and need ed to use the 4ed to get out. After i got out and on some asphalt i toke it out of 4wd but noticed it was binding when i made sharp turns. Figured it was the 4wd just being stuck engaged and will correct it self. So i drove a bit and then when i went to get on the highway i heard a thud and the jeep normally pulls slight right t then started pulling to the left. A pretty significant change. When i got to the fuel stationed to fill it up i could still feel it binding when turning and continued to do so untill i was half way home. By the time i got home it drove fine even when sharp turning. Figured 4wd just got stuck and may need to be looked at. However that doesn't explain the thud sound or the change in steering pull.

Any ideas?
