it's another MAP sensor , but I'm not sure if that measure the vacuum in the intake for calculate the engine load |

As far as I remember it measures air pressure and compares it with the air flow meter and map sensor to determine if the air filter is becoming blocked. Well that's what I was lead to believe. |

Its the air inlet pressure sensor. |

Just leave it plugged in. With a stock engine tune, it you unplug that sensor, you will have reduced power. As far as I know, the GDE tune is the only one that allows you to unplug that sensor without effecting engine performance. |

yes in "teory" if you delete the DTC in the table , you do not have the power cut , because the ecu do not know what to do after the impulse that say " hey , I'm unplugged" is detected , but I'm really courious of what this sensor really do , I know the only pressure reading is assigned at the MAP in the intake manifold and in the ECU , one inside the ECU reads the real atmospheric pressure and compare it with the MAP for every managment and adaptation , but I want to know what this another MAP say at the ECU and what purpose has |

I think the sensor is for reading atmospheric pressure to adjust fuelling depending on altitude. |

if I unplug it , I still reading atomspheric pressure and intake pressure with a Launch X 431 , I do not know if is an error or what , but I doubt , I must try to do some more test to verify |

I could be wrong but I wouldn't think there is a sensor inside the ECU. |

And if you search posts for air inlet pressure sensor, they all refer to the sensor on the air box with nobody having any clue what it does other than the possibility of measuring air filter restriction. |
