Hi Guys, I am removing the 2.8lt CRD engine from my 2006 Cherokee. Could explain the easiest way to remove the bolts holding the engine to the transmission. In particular the upper bolts. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Rob

You need to undo the back crossmember on the trans & let it flex down. It gives you room to get to the bolts with a couple of feet of socket extensions. Once the top bolts are out, bolt the crossmember back up.
