I am going to get the Old man Emu suspention for my KJ, but am unsure about the springs. I am also going to get an ARB bumper later this summer. I have read all kinds of info on this forum and am still unsure.

WoodysKJ I just read that you recently installed the OME equipment on your rig and the ARB bumper. What size springs did you go with? How do they ride? Do I have to go with the HD? My Jeep is also my family vehical. I am afraid it will be too stiff. Any suggestions.

You can go w/ MD's Or HD's as for stiffness I would say it depends on the driver, I have medium OME springs and I love the ride.. Way better than stock.

Try this link Go To "JEEP" then pick KJ and an adobe reader will pop up with all the specs. Then you can make an informed choice, most do go w/ HD size w/ an ARB bumper..

IMO with the bumper u should get the HDs. with a lifted rig u dont want it to sway either and the stiffer spring should help that. i have Rustys springs so i cant say how they ride but i wish had HDs thats for sure. also u will get more lift with the HDs since they will not sag as much with all that weight. just my 2 cents. either way im sure u will be happy u cant go wrong with OME.

Sorry about the delay to your question, but it looks like it has been answered.

I LOVE the HD's. Great ride. If you do get the bull bar i would, like what was said before, get the HD's. I guarantee that you will start looking at winches down the road and then you will be set.

Again welcome to BGLOST.

GO HD's, wont be sorry.
