Hows it going guys.....I'm new here. I just got a 2005 KJ. For now it's stock because I'm about to deploy in 2 months but when I get back I plan on lifting it and doing the tires & locker. Are there any places to wheel that aren't far from here. I'd love to hear from some other KJ owners in the area.

I'm in the Army....thanks for the prayers from the bottom of my heart. http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchant.m ... sus_kj_kit This is te kit I planned on going with. I know everyone runs 31" tires but I wanna try 32" with some trimming.

You are very welcome! My grandpa was in the Vietnam war and he was in the Army too. He's in bad shape now because of the chemicals and such they used over there. My grandma takes care of him all the time. Well I'm so thankful for what you all do. Maybe you could private message me about how I can get you all some carepackages, and I can get some care packages together for you guys.

Back to the Jeep stuff...
That lift kit you picked out, has the same lift as the Daystar liftkit I bought. I bought this http://www.truckaddons.com/Catalog/subpages/Daystar_comfortridesuspension.htm

Scroll down until you see Jeep, and then look for the one that says 2002-2007 KJ 2 1/2" F/R Spacers/Strut Plates
It gave me 2.5" lift in the front and 2" in the rear, and along with it I bought Skyjacker Hydro 7000 rear shocks because the stock ones weren't long enough. Plus they needed to be replaces anyways. I could fit 32" but I had rubbing when I made sharp turns. To fix that, I trimmed just a tad bit off that bottom lip gaurd. One cut on each side and that fixed the rubbing problem "somewhat". I only had 32's as temps til I could get the right tire size. All it rubbed on was my front fenders; all that plastice stuff. Don't trim off the stuff on your front bumper, because that is what protects your Jeep. Trimming off the plastic stuff may cause problems. I know some guys on here have done it, but I'm not taking any chances. Hope that helps you!
