I got the arb bull bar on my kj and i was tring to see if any knows how well a 9000H mile marker would fit in there
If anyone knows a better solution let me know i still want to stick with a hydraulic one

best bet would be to measure your cradle opening on the bumper, then look up the dimensions on Milemarker's website

the hydraulic winch is too big and weighs too much. I talked with a rep at Rough country and he said the winch alone weighs in at over 100 pounds. With cradle for a front mount receiver hitch, my buddy's milemarker PE8500 comes in at close to 80 pounds. The hydraulic winch is a great product (used them in Humvee's) because it works underwater, won't over heat, and wont kill your battery. The rep mentioned that the hydro winch is too wide for the ARB.

Won't fit...we tried. Sorry. H-type winches aren't a bad way to go, but the peripherals make them hard to fit in our product. Best bet is a 8000# winch with detachable solenoid. Warn, Ramsey, Milemarkers all fit. If you want more pull, buy a snatch block that will double the pull out to 16,000 #'s. Then you're kosher.

I'd suggest mounting the second battery in the rear cargo area of the KJ as underhood space is limited. I believe Summit Racing sells a few trunk mount kits, then you would just need the other stuff (isolators i believe?). Perhaps if you are good at fab work you could mount one under the seat but you would need to cut a hole in the floor-might be worth it to save the cargo space.

I think you would save yourself alot of trouble if you just bought a
Yellow or Blue top Optima. That way you really don't have to worry to much about power. It would be great to have a dual battery setup but it would be very hard to find space. I have been using winches for years. I have never needed a dual battery setup. I really liked the setup I had on my S10 pickup years ago. I mounted a deep cycle in the tool box. Really never needed it. The CRD come with a red top Optima and so far I haven't killed it with my Warn 9500ti. The Optima battery can be abused and still live to tell about it.

consider a mean green alternator, couldn't hurt. It may be overkill but the electrical system probably powering extra lights, computers, radio-a heavy duty alternator may be just the ticket.
