Im trying to install my skids. The holes are hex and the nutzerts are round, how is this supposed to work, do you pound them in?

There should be a nut and bolt that help to flare the nutzert when torqued to 30 ft. lbs.

Here are the parts that you should have:

Here are the directions to flare the nutzerts:

Sounds like you need the hex nutzerts. You got the wrong nutzerts. You can order these from the dealer. About a buck apiece.

Oh, this may go with out saying. But be sure to insert the nutzert BEFORE you torque the two pieces.

Ok, I have the tool and the nutserts. So there are hex ones? Mine are round and will not fit into the hex holes in the frame, bummer cause I ordered the skids and this is what came with them.

easy
drill hex hole round ,insert round nut zert and procede

I do not know what size hole you should drill but the nut zert should fit snug but do not pound it in
as you tighten the nut zert the part in the unibody or cross member will flair holding it tighter then the top side will flair

hope this helps

PS
HOLD ON TO THE DRILL TIGHT and take your time drilling it will want to get away from you drilling out a hex hole
