I ordered a 2.5" Daystar lift today and it should be in at 4 Wheel Parts tomorrow. I want to just get new top plate studs rather than pressing out the ones from the stock top plate. Does anyone know what diameter and length wheel stud to use to press in? I would like to get them before I start tearing it all apart.

Probably a dealer part. Go to your local stealership and ask them.

I found the answer to my own question. It was buried in one of the other posts about a compressor install. I found the Advance Auto Parts part number. But, we don't have those here, so here is the info you need.

Dorman Part Number 98524.1 Dorman Website Link

Or just go to your local auto parts store and ask for a wheel stud for a 90's or 2000 model Ford Taurus rear drum brake. That will get it for you too.

They are M12-1.5 thread, which is not the same thread as the stock plates, so don't forget to get 8 M12-1.5 lug nuts too.
