I am eventually going to cover the sun-visors with suede.
paint the window pillars and around the interior lights black and then wrap the Oh crap handles in black grip tape...
Oh and I have not brushed the suede yet... but you get the picture...
Merry Christmas
Chris

Had a feeling, any law problems?

I had my Amigo tinted like that and got pulled over a few times. I did loved the privacy though.

Suprisingly No, and I guess any kind of tint is illegal in ohio.... If I see a cop is going to pull up next to me I usually roll down my front windows just in case. But no I've never had any problems...

How is the padded insulation? Looks like you could put some up there above the cross bars to make it quieter.

Yes you could put some dynomat up on the top above the Insulation... I really liked the look of having the insulation out. I almost left it out but since I had all ready bought the fabric...

Oh and the total cost of the fabric and glue was $40. I got it 50% off at some fabric store. A very cheap modification with a huge result. If you're willing to tear the jeep apart and get a little dirty...

oh and for those who didn't know. the tube that carries the widow wash to the rear is located on the passenger side and it is connected to the padded insulation.

If my kids listened to me this Christmas, I should be getting my windows tinted in the next few days, but I'm just going to match the fronts with the factory back windows that are already on my KJ. Hopefully that will keep the local police off my butt. I'm also going to do the windshiled like yours.
