GaugePods.com (LoTek) has setup the pre-sale order form for the 3-gauge pod.

Cost is $44 and an extra $7 for the neutral beige. Once they hit 30 orders they will make them and ship them so tell your friends. Or better yet, just buy theirs too and make them pay you back :D . (Seems there is a $6 shipping too, plus tax... My total was $59)

Also, is anyone interested (or perhaps even passionate about) in becoming the point-of-contact for this? I have two road trips with my two sons' Scouts units and am not sure I will be around. LoTek only wants one contact and right now that is me, but I am willing to give the reigns over if it makes more sense. Someone who will be installing the 3-gauge immediately would be better, I may not get to replacing my 2-gauge for a few months.

The standard should be the grey. Who has a black interior?

Pre-sales are up, I bought mine yesterday. The neutral beige is a very close match to my interior. I have the grey seats and lower plastic but my headliner and pillars are that beige (I would have called it tan, but ...).

They can match any color they say, but I suppose would need a sample. Could send them a piece of your molding and they will return it with your part... Not sure how that would work with this pre-sales deal though.

If your 05 is the light color, they call it light greystone Part #05134798AA
Code BD1 is the paint from Mopar, see link here.

Digging up an old thread, did we ever get to the 30 pre-sale orders for the Liberty 3-gauge pods?
How about another try to see if we can get 30 of us to get a 3 gauge mold fabricated?
Any takers?

I checked the site and they have the 3 gauge pod listed for 02-05. Anyone know if it will work on an 06? If it will I'll place my order also.

I think you'll have to email GaugePods.com directly to ask if they have the 30 orders. When we gathered enough interest (though a different post I think, with a poll) they added the 3-pod selection on their site with some words to the effect of, "Select and pay for the pod and when enough orders are taken we will tool the machine and make them".

I know I sent my money with the knowledge that it may take a long time (but I already have a 2-pod installed and am happy until whenever). I believe otherss indicated that they also paid in advance. But only GaugePods.com will know for sure, or be able to clear up any of my errors here.

Hope that helps.

One more thing, somewhat unrelated.
My 2-pod seems to want to pull away from the sheetmetal under the pod since the screws are angled nearly back-to-front and not diagonally to the sheetmetal, noticed it at night while outside the Jeep and the gauge light was spilling out. Velcro was my solution to this since it still allows removal for tinkering, etc.

Good to know, and I will follow up with GuagePods to see how near the cusp we are on the 30 pre-sale order. Maybe I'll be the one that gets us over the hump! I just wanted to buy one 3 pod cluster and install it once. But your comments on poor craftsmanship concern me. Are you just noticing it on one gauge or both of them?
Thanks so much for posting the FYI

I don't know if I'd call it "poor craftsmanship" as much as a poor decision on where to pre-drill the hole for us to use to hold it against the pillar sheetmetal.

The individual pod shapes and positions (i.e.; aim at the driver) are pretty good and I'd judge the quality of the entire pod-cluster, specifically the material and thickness, etc, to be very satisifactory.
(For the record, I'm still stinging from Old Navy's "hammer mechanic" comment from a different thread, no matter that it was most likely well-placed. No leakage to date, and no resolution yet either although I have kept it under frequent observation.)

I just received an e-mail from the admin group at gaugepods.com. They only have received 4 pre-sale orders to date!
WOW
For as much complaining that we do for not having adequate gauges on the CRD only 4 pre-sale orders out of a minimum of 30 to make a 3 pod pillar mold!
We need 26 more people or a few entrepeneurs willing to buy in bulk and re-sell on e-Bay.

That is a fairly paltry response by us CRD owners. I guess I gambled correctly when I elected to buy the 2-pod for immediate install as well as pre-ordering the 3-pod.

Good luck with your decision, now that you are realizing the slim chance of getting that 3-pod anytime soon...

Ohhhh I would too!

I just wish we could get our pre-order numbers up from 4 thus far and 30 is the lowest for them to press a mold.

Well, we need to keep this post bumped then...because a lot of people probably weren't seeing it as it was 4 or 5 pages back....If anyone is planning on doing towing....which I plan to do eventually....these guages are a must have....also important for those planning on chipping or doing other performance mods....One should always wait until EGTs drop quite a bit before they shut down their rig after hard running or normal running in very hot temps....important guages to have.

Although I need to check, I don't believe your charged until shipped. Unfortunately, no way to get them to do a 3 pod pillar without an order of 30.
