Delo synthetic is a good product it has a CI-4 plus rating. This is the best rating for Diesel Vehicles.
Proof for doubters from Chevron website data sheets, it is a fine oil for the CRD. I haven't used it as it not always available here in town for some reason, and then only at Wal-Mart and sometimes at AutoZone but not always the 5w-40 400 synthetic. Go figure.
However I am not sure it is repackaged Mobil 1 5w-40/Delvac 1 5w-40 now days, I remember when they were not, last I heard they were ChevronTexecoCalTex. In other words you will have to prove that to me, or point me to the proof.

I would have to check and see if it is a class III non true synthetic or Class IV true synthetic.
