Is Camas, WA close enough? Near Vancouver. I see 4 CRDs in the Gresham area quite a bit. There's like 7 Libertys in the parking lot at work.

close enough for me! Recruit all you can. We go up to WA several times a year so it shouldn't be hard to get something going.

My folks bought theirs from Hood River Chrysler Jeep Dodge. It now resides in WA.

Ok guys, looks like we are going to have to start a fire to get this stuff going....I was thinking of making some LOST business card type things to put on windshields of KJ's that look like they might wheel from time to time....and possibly contact our local dealerships and have them pass out the cards to KJ owners or put them on bulletin boards. If we can get at least ten or so folks interested I think we can get something going. Do you guys have any other ideas on how to spread the word?

Been there, done that..

I made up full-size (8.5x11) and small (4x6) lost kj's fliers and left some at all the local Jeep dealers & on windshields every time I saw a Liberty.

I must have passed out over 50 just on peoples windshields alone in the Hood River/ The Dalles area.

I STILL have one posted at my work (auto parts), most people don't even notice that our KJ is lifted :( . Even with 2" lift with LT245/75R-16 BFG a/t's it just looks like it should have when it came from Jeep.

I have yet to see a Liberty here with any dust on it let alone MUD, other than ours. Last time we played in the mud my wife wouldn't let me wash it for 2 weeks, just so her friends would say "you take your new car in the mud!!!". Then she tells them "it's not a car, it's a Jeep" :-)r .

I have to admit the look on there faces is priceless

Let's do a Tillamook trail run...that should be close enough for everyone....easy enough for stock KJ's and a chance to meet, greet, eat, and drive a little! I will find more info on the run and post it later this week. Let me know if you guys are interested.

The maps listed on the site are essential as the tree huggers made them remove the signs they had put up a few years ago. There was talk that they were trying to get the courts to close the trails also. I've been on a few of the trails and see few four wheelers, mostly camping dirt bikes and short use ATVs. Route 3 has been my favorite, though I haven't been on them all. A lot of the east side stuff I've been on without knowing what they were. Lot's of nothing much between so pretty spots over east.

#3 = Lots of nice photos, but not very many of the trails. The few that it did have looks milder than my dads driveway, but I know how hard it is to get good trail shots. No one ever wants to stop to take photos when the trail is fun.

Who gets to drive the fuel tanker? Almost 400 miles one way! It would be a 1/2 tank in turn around & back out trip.

I know there have to be some shorter & harder trails here in Oregon. We are use to driving the fire/powerline/logging roads here. Last time out we went from The Dalles to Parkdale the back way. It was a little over 100 miles at night with a YJ, XJ, KJ, & F250. It took about 4 - 5 hours one way, then we drove home on the highways, about 30-40 miles.

LOL, well you really got your point across huh? :P You can delete the extras... I haven't been on any of the trails, but there is also a place outside of Grants Pass that looks real fun, looks a bit harder than some other places. I am game for anywhere, I just want to get together and play!! Mud is coming soon....yay!!
