So Chris, now that you have explored more of GWNF than most of us, what trails do you think we will be doing for this? Just stock friendly stuff up to Flagpole Knob and such or are you wanting to try some of the harder stuff you've found down there? Are we making it a two day or just one day this time? Need some details so I can start making plans.

Dave to tell you honestly I am not to sure. I am going to try to hit GWNF 1 or 2 more times just to know exactly where I am going. We will go to flagpole knob and do our usual. If everyone wants to try to run Saltshed I can take us through that also. As far as one day vs. 2 if some people want to stay an extra day and run the trails than that will be up to them. I will also check out Dictum and see if we can go down it since going up is not an option.

There are also some trails further south. Crabtree falls and something else. I will try to have this as an option also but I can't promise anything.

Shoe Creek is by Crabtree Falls. I did that trail last month with the VB Jeepers. Nothing to write home about.

Thanks for the input. I have not had a chance to get there but with that report I am not going to push it.

Don't know just yet. But I don't think we can. I will have to check out the bypass to see if it is any good.

Me, Mike and Grant came down Dictum in the Libertys on one occasion. It was precarious and needed some careful spotting but we made it with little problem. It may have washed out more though since we were there.

The last time I saw Dictum you could not go up it and coming down would have tested skid plates and sliders.

BTW W3CSX and I will be doing a little scouting on the 24th I believe. We will probably fun up the backside of stone camp since there is a tril I want to check out, second mt. and down dictum and of course salt shed. I want to make sure that there is something for everyone.

Dang, what the heck are those things called...I know I saw them on here in the past. You know, you use them for crawling up rocks that are too big for your rig. Some type of portable (& foldable?) ramps. Get those if you can for Dictum. If you can get past that, Dictum is a fun mountain trail to go up.

Hey Chris/Al, if you can, order some Fall Krawl dash plaques like we had last year. Those things are sweet and everyone loved them. I`ll have to dig up the info for you (I think the KJ West group uses them) or maybe you can even find it on here. The couple that runs the company are awesome. Heck, they even send them to you BEFORE they ask for payment. I corresponded with them quite a few times and they were always nice and polite. I`d order from them again in a heartbeat. Oh yeah, and the prices were cheap!

Mike
