Does anyone know how to disable the door chime so that one can listen to their radio while the door is open without hearing that anyone beeping?

And is there a way to just disable the open door chime without also disabling the low fuel chime, or does it just run on the same circuit?

As far as I know there is no way to disable that chime. You can disable the seat belt chime, you can turn off the horn sounding when you lock the doors, but that one I believe is hard-wired. If someone knows different I'm sure they'll post the info.

I use a wooden pencil to "lock" the latch on the door. No more chime. Just make sure you unlock the door before slamming it shut.

I’ve asked the same question on a different website and got the same answers, I want to know where the heck it the darn thing that makes the sound. I can get rid of it and solve all my chime problems. :?:

I’m not sure it’s stated in the manual. It’s something weird like with the ignition key in the on position buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt three times within 10 seconds. :?:

It's in the manual, how to disable the seatbelt chimes, the stock setup is terrible, it wouldn't be so bad if ti just chimed once like they used to, but it won't shutup, a real pain when in the fields getting in an out all the time, so I disabled it.

The wooden pencil is the first I found in my center console that could work. What do you use, because I already broke the pencil once.

Haha, I just stick my pinky finger back in there and latch it twice. At first it would always get grease on my finger, but now its all gone. I probably should put some more back in there? :)
