Had a great time, went smooth all day untill SOMEONE said something about not haveing any problems with mechanical stuff. Oh well just so you know it was the Battery and it got replaced with a Red Top. So I will just end this with a wave.

Nice. Looks like you guys had fun :)

We went to Anza Borrego, then wind up in Big Sur (haha) and Oceano Dunes. Lots of driving this weekend. We checked out the tidefall (McWay fall)

Image

Liked Oceano Dunes a lot, but there were moments when I had visions of my front diff exploding ... we thought about camping but since I had to get ready to fly to NC on Wednesday we didn't camp. Too bad. Next time.

See you guys in a week!

Man, you should have kept going to Andrew Molera just a little bit north of Julia Pheiffer. Take a mile hike along the river then turn south for like 10 minutes and you run into a dead humpback. Gross but really cool to see close up. Then you could have shot out the parking lot to the dirt road on the other side of the highway and taken the Old Coast Road. It's a 10 mile easy drive and you get a beautiful view of the Bixby Bridge with the ocean behind it. You end up on the north side of the bridge. Cool little jaunt! Glad you had a good time.

How long has the dead whale been there?

(and, why were you interested in dead whales anyway? Is there a dark side to you that you didn't share with the club?)

Cute kid.

The whales been there since fathers day. We went out right away and it was neat. Couple weeks later and it stank and looked smaller/sunken in. Curious as to what it looks like now.

As we got closer to the "rock", the more he kept saying he needed to go home... He left early. He took some pics and video that should post soon, I hope.

Thanks,
It's fun. A new challenge. I got some cool ideas I want to try. And that's the cool part. I have no idea of what i'm doing, or what i'm going to get.
