Hey guys,

Does anyone know my radio doesn't want to eject my cd's? it worked fine 2 days ago and now it just makes the noise like it's going to eject but doesn't.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Happened to mine...... It's dead Jim.
Sometimes cycling through the Eject/Load cycle going from CD to CD will get it to eject though.
Gotta have it replaced if under warranty. The dlr will ship ure CDs back to you. Just stay on top of them. It takes like 6 weeks to get em back. They'll swap out your player in the meantime for a refurbed unit & u have the remainder of ure warranty on that one. If u r out of warranty hit Crutchfield's and get a replacement unit & the proper mounting stuff (comes with thier units free). But I don't know how you can recover ure CDs short of dismembering the unit. Evidently the 6 cd changers are pretty crappy units as I have seen alot of failures reported on here. Nice for $600 or whatever it is the option costs. :x

Mine was replaced under warranty as well. Unit was probably full of dust and crap from all the trips. It would not accept new CD (probably couldn't read the TOC area), and whatever it accepted would not play. On top of that it would scratch the discs :)

I have the regular single disc CD player. My original one had had an issue making wierd noises while loading a CD, getting ready to play, and when it was supposed to eject. I had it replaced under warrenty.

Today, I bought a new CD and put it in. It was playing fine and then it cut out, and now refuses to eject. I turned the Jeep off and back on again in hopes that would help, but it didn't.

Does anyone know if there is a small hole for a paper clip or something like on a computer CD tray that will eject my CD? Or do I have to take it to the dreaded dealer and get them to do something?

(I have a 2003 Freedom edition and the stock CD player)

Never mind....the CD came out. I left the Jeep off and hit eject and it worked fine. :D Maybe one of these days I can get the iPod interface!
