I might be in on this one. Gotta double check though... it's soccer/field hockey season and I have 2 munchkins!

Alright guys lets talk it up a bit. What trails are we going to be doing? I know Dictum is out, I dont think that even my SWB Rubi could do that stock. I have a few buddies who want to tag along for this event (Cody with the primer YJ, and Jimmy with a Land Rover).

Going up Dictum may be out, but coming down might be doable. If you remember where we tried to go up last time, we could probably come down right there if it's not washed out to bad. You might be using your skids a bit though. (You do have them right?) I don't know where this Salt Shed trail is that Chris mentioned, so it might be worth a try. Unless we have a lot of stockers, maybe we can stay off the easy stuff going up to the knob. I hope Chris is still coming so he can point the way since he has been on more trails down there than the rest of us.

Is this ride going to go on any newcomer-friendly trails? I plan on ordering skids before I attempt anything but if I have them in time I'd be interested in coming out for this.

Get the skids. If you need some help installing them (nothing to big I hope!) then I will be more than happy to help you the morning of the trip. Come on out and join us! If it gets to be too much for you, then just pull off and hop in with someone in the group.

Sweet, thanks! Then tentatively count me in. I'll post up whether I'm a definite closer to the date. :)

It's not looking good for me to make it. My Liberty is still in the shop for the third time trying to fix the violent vibrations I'm getting (I dropped it off Sunday night). And I don't want to order any parts (skids) for it until it's fixed... or until they at least know HOW to fix it.

Have fun, all. :(

By the way, since this is only a little over two weeks away, should we be talking about when and where everyone is going to meet up? I assume the Sheetz around 8-8:30ish. And we should update the list on who's going since I think we've had a few changes since this was first planned.

Richard, we can meet a little earlier if you want to put on that skid. I don't think they'll let us do it in the Sheetz parking lot though, so we'll have to find somewhere nearby to do it.

Let’s here from the people who are going. Here is what’s been posted so far.

    1. WV(0)IIIIIII(0)
    2. W3CSX and wife
    3. Uvalax236
    4. Ugg
    5. Articus
    6. Fdezone ???
    7. Gypsygirl ???
    8. Speleorelic

I think 8:30 sounds good. At the Sheetz on 33. Still not sure what trails we are doing. But that’s easy to adlib. I have a topo map of the forest we can go by. But, I think Chris knows the trails down there better than anybody else.

Uvalax236 what skid do you need installed? I can meet you and Dave to help. There is a Lowes on 33 just on the other side of 81. It's behind the Holiday Inn. We can probably get it on in there parking lot. That way if we need bolts or anything...

Jason, it's the skid you helped me with before on the LJ. I'm selling it to Richard since it won't work with my long arm kit. I've still got all the bolts. I got a new one to replace it. In fact, I put it on tonight all by myself. It took some contorting and a little help from my jack, but I got it on. :) It's so much easier to work under there now. Oh yeah, And I still plan on going.
I'll meet you two guys at the Lowe's at about 8:00 then.

This thread has been mighty quiet lately. With it getting so close, you'd think there would be a little more activity with people asking directions to the meeting place etc. I got a bad feeling that it much just be me, Jason and Richard. But then again, if that's the case, we can cover a lot more trails in less time. So to those that said earlier that they were coming, how about chiming in and letting us know you're still onboard. When we leave from Sheetz, we don't want to leave anybody behind that might still be coming.

I'll be there. Dave glad to see your still coming. I was afraid you would have to back out. How is Kim holding up?

Kim is doing ok. She got bruised up pretty bad in the accident and now they're starting to heal. I don't think she is coming with me though. She doesn't really feel up to the bouncing around.

Ok everybody, 3 days to go. Who's still with us?
