I am thinking about putting a plow on my CRD and wondered if any one else has or knows some one who has. I have found plows by sno-way and the have 3 they recommend varying in size 6', 6'8" and 7'6". The latter seems too big to me since my 3/4 ton truck sometime has trouble with a 7'6" in wet snow. Any thoughts?

many people say its a stupid idea b/c the kj has a uniframe. I wouldnt see problem with a small light weight plow just to do the driveway or something of that nature..

Don't get anything bugger than a 6'. Like said by others I would only do light plowing.

I looked into this as well and that's a lot of the same info. Most places I inquired at first told me to get a real truck , then I told them it was just "light duty" - my drive way . Advised on a 6' blade max and, if you don't have it already, HD cooling fluids. For a CRD I highly doubt you should have a prob with that set-up.

I was looking some more and noticed that plows vary in height. The one for my truck is 29" and the one for the liberty is 22".

There was a website that sold snowplows for the libby..

here ya go..

http://www.rocky-road.com/grandsnowplow.html

http://www.custompickup.com/snowplows.htm

Might want to look into doing a small clevis lift or maybe add some rustys .75in spacers so the front wont be so low with the plow on..

This is a good company. I actually have one of their trailers, I believe it is a Model 800 or something. I had some paint issues where it started to peel like a 1980's GM car, emailed Snowbear to complain, they sent me all new side pieces and fenders plus a HD cover.
