We have been chip tuning since 1997. Unlike a plug-in module that just glitches the computer to supply more fuel, we actually do actual modifications to the control maps inside your ECU. We not only have the capability to modify boost, fuel and start of injection maps, have a capability to reduce the EGR portion of the firmware to virtually nil, meaning a car that would plug the intake in 20-30K miles will take 200K. We can even remap your throttle pedal positioning! Custom tuning and special requests are never a problem.
Addressing the issue of Dealership reflash. We advise our customers to seek out a knowledgeable independent repair facility before taking their car to a Stealership. In most cases the technician will be more highly skilled, and you will receive a higher level of service for less money. The independents actually care whether or not your going to come back again and whether or not your going to tell your friends and family to get your car fixed there. Dearships are full of "parts changers" looking for the quickest solution to your problem. All of our tunings that are purchased directly come with a lifetime firmware warranty, if you get victimized by stealership reflash, just remove your ECU and send it in for a warranty flash.
ECU CLONING SERVICES ARE AVAIL!!!!! If you send us either a brand new or good used ECU with your original ecu, we can make an identical "Clone" that can plug & play at any time. Some customers prefer this solution to the whole "Dealer problem"
For your peace of mind, we save the original entire contents of all ECU's that are mailed in for tunings. This way if something goes horribly wrong we always have a "back-up plan". We can load your original files into any new or used ECU and you are good to go.
Please bear in mind that the intentional removal of an emissions control device on a USA vehicle driven on a public motorway of any kind is subject to a $50,000.00 fine. We DO NOT endorse the use of our tunings in any illegal or immoral way. Since we are modifying your mailed ECU we can adjust the EGR portion of your firmware for off-Road and closed course racing use only. We will not delete the EGR for local mobile tuning customers so please do not ask.
