Anybody watch the above show about Jeeps I think on History channel?

I didn't know all the history of the Jeep .... they sure beat the hell out of them back then and even showed some MOAB pix.

Have not seen that one but it sounds similar to others I have seen. IT is crazy to watch the old testing footage of the original Willys and Ford "Jeeps" being tested. Man they caught some serious air in some of those and really beat them hard! Great stuff to watch. I would So buy a video of that old footage and history info. Hmmm..... Gotta be something like that available somewhere eh?

It was actually on Discovery Time. Didnt manage to watch it though. The Unit had a new episode last night.

I have caught it twice now. I have found it on discovery times channel. It is actually on right now.

I wouldn't wanna try some of the off road 'air' jumps they put those Willy's through...

I also wish I could fix my KJ w/ some belts and tape to keep it running... maybe they can put the 40's ball joint technology into the KJ

The KJ they showed running in the mud seemed like a 2005 so I figure it was made last year. They certainly marketed their product well back then... same as today... rugged outdoor utility and recreation leisure users.
