I'm a definite maybe. I have some other plans for mid-afternoon so I might try to leave early, depending on how possible that ends up being.

Actually, I've wheeled in the dark before, and it's not that fun. Ask Wayne about how much fun it is changing a tire in the dark, on a trail.

On another note... You mentioned that these are PROBABLY class VI roads. Can we get some more definate answers? A buddy of mine is interested, but his KJ is only a month old. He actually told me about some trails he went on in Bartlett NH (off the Kangamangus) that sounded like they were maintained by the state. I'll look into those more, but I wanted to find out about this run first. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tim they are DEFINITE class VI roads in & around Hancock

we'll be meeting at the official rest area on 93 at 9 till 9:30 then we're off to 1 of our guides houses which is in Hancock the first trail head is about 10 min from his house

I have put a list of Trail Requirements for ALL trail rides in it's own sticky I will inspect all KJ's before we leave to make sure requirements are in order if not they can ride with someone which is fine, but I'm trying to keep everyone safe & have a good day without incident hopefuly, just looking out for you guy's cause I care

I've been asked if we had tow hooks & skids for this ride & I told them yes so it might be a little exciting or could be nothing I don't know wish I could help ferthur :?

Hello everyone. For those of you that know me, nice seeing you all getting out still. For those that don't know me, I'm Wayne and I used to have a KJ. :( And had lots of fun with it.
As Tim mentioned, changing tires in the dark are a bit more fun. Although, White Face and Ice are even more fun, hey Tim???

Don't forget to take and post up lots of good pics.

I am just getting the chance to check things from N.J. Hope to be home sometime around the end of the month and then off to N.Y. for a bit and probably back to N.J. again. So, at this point, all I can do is check for the pics from the run.

Have fun, be safe and HAPPY WHEELING

you should be fine Mike,we'll be spotting from outside anyways & if I hit anything I'll find a way to tell ya

the BoulderBar install is pretty simple & time consuming if I knew I'd be around I'd come up & lend a hand it's easier with 2 people & a 90 degree drill if you can find one,I did mine with a regular drill & had no problems just tough to drill straight in some areas

Great to see you all getting out more and it seems like the Norteast group is growing as well. Way to keep things going Pete.
Have a GREAT time.

Tim, you know that pinstripping adds character.

Thanks Wayne I'm trying my best :) & Tim probably knows that but I think the mrs. will disagree & Tim to a certain extent,my wife has given up on complaining about my pinstriping just as long as I make it home in 1 piece

You can count me 100% in. I'll be there! I'll PM my contact info. I can also bring along two long range radios, but I don't have a CB.

I'm in  I might have a buddy of mine coming too, I'll let you know.

Hey Wayne, my passenger seat will be available if you're interested. I suppose it's only fair I repay the favor

Mike, I have three handheld walkie talkies that I'll bring (just cheapo ones, but the work). I'll have a CB, so I can relay from CB to walkie talkie. We did this one other time, and it seemed to work ok.

I think I have to skip this one. I need to be back in cambridge by 1 or 2, so I'd end up having to leave the trail pretty much right when we get there. Next time!
