Just like the title says...I'm selling an Edge module for a Liberty CRD.

Astute observers will notice that I've previously sold a MP-8 module, and an SP Diesel Stage II module. I'm now selling an Edge Module.

Like the other two, this comes with all of the original packaging and instructions; it was used for 24 hours, for driveability and dyno testing.

The dyno test results will be released with a comprehensive review when we complete testing all of the available modules (we need to try the Predator, and 2 others).

So far, I can tell you that this is the module I'd want in my street-driven jeep. It doesn't produce quite as high of peak HP gains as does the SP Diesel, but it comes on much earlier and makes the Jeep much more fun to drive. Turbo lag is almost eliminated...it really wakes 'er up. Also, for some reason, turbo sound is increased slightly (sounds like the turbo is spooling up at lower RPMs).

Despite the slightly lower peak HP gains, acceleration runs show that the Edge module produces nearly identical results to the SP Diesel module...and from the driver's seat, it feels faster, as it has a bit more low end grunt.

These retail for $500 ($499), plus S&H. This one is absolutely brand new, perfect, and I'll sell it for the first $400 (including S&H to the continental US). THe proceeds are being reinvested in purchasing the remaining modules to test. Payment is expected via paypal, although I'll consider other forms of payment.

Installation is a 5 minute affair, and that includes running the control switch to the interior (you can switch, on the fly, between stock, stage I and stage II).

I think it would be easier to reply on here than to reply to each individual e-mail I received...

1. I didn't test it long enough to verify fuel economy claims; Edge indicates you should get up to 15% better fuel economy.

2. There are 3 modes: 1) stock; 2) mid level--this greatly increases responsiveness and is probably what you'd use for daily driving; 3) high level--this turns the CRD into a little beastie! A dramatic difference in power levels and responsiveness throughout the power band.

3. Both of the non-stock power levels dramatically change the way the jeep drives; they make it a great deal more responsive. It feels as though the pedal has been reprogrammed, and is far more pleasant.

4. It connects to the MAP and the FRP sensors.

5. I would consider other (reasonable) offers, but I think the price is pretty reasonable as-is.

6. I'd prefer paypal, and will ship UPS (included in the price).

7. The objective data is not yet ready.

I have been running one for a few months and about 6,000 miles starting as a Beta tester and have been very happy with it. I have not really noticed much in the way of mileage gain(.5mpg ?) but it runs very well daily on 1 and I leave it there to try to save the trans. I love it, my jeep hauls with the box and Muffler. I really like the way it goes with less throttle input it helps keep the trans from hunting or shifting down. I have towed my 92 Jetta on a car trailer and I was impressed, you will really notice the improvement if you tow. The box does boost fooling(via MAP sensor) so It does feel like boost comes on sooner. I do not have gauges yet........

Also listed a 2.5" electric cutout which works QUITE NICELY with stock 2.5" exhaust.

Just wondering did you notice a big difference going to bigger exhaust?
