Been a Ram Diesel payment maker for a long time. So I'm familiar with the quirks and issues of these Beasts.
The "Princess" asked me if it is common in these Lil'Rattlers to smell diesel exhaust in the cabin...
With the Cummins, the only time there are cabin smells is if Rotella is used in the crankcase.
Does'nt seem to be any air leaks in the weather stripping on the tail or exhaust system leaks.
Any of you Veteran CRD'ers notice this or is this the nature of the Lil'Beast.

For the first couple of months I owned mine I was getting faint diesel exhaust in the cabin. It wasn't the funky treated exhaust smell from the tailpipe, was classic diesel exhaust as if it had a leak ahead of the catayist. Went away on it own with time.
On most turbo diesels I've seen, the turbo outlet is connected to the exhaust pipe with a slip coupling. Inside the couplings there are usually 2-3 compression rings that need to wear-in to make the good seal. These couplings usually leak a little until they break-in.
