I realize that this may be a bit off the beaten track ( this is a jeep forum) but as I was looking over the forum today, I was scaning the power steering pump thread which lead me to look at wholesalemopar.com. Just for grins, I thought that I would see what an EGR valve cost, (not that I need another one to replace the current replacement yet) and I presume that there must be some mistake. The listed price on that item is $0.44! Got to be something wrong??

I looked and you are right. That is interesting. Maybe it is just a gasket or something.

I started browsing their catalog and it won't let me put anything in my "shopping cart". Maybe they are having issues with their website.

I tried to order that part from them many months ago and they called back and say they could not do it and had cancelled my order, and at that time, they disabeled the add it to the cart option until their website could be reprogrammed. I guess they have not gotten that done yet.

I saw that same site also... but another site had the egr valve itself for $212 and the afv for somewhere in the $400 dollar range. Don't recall the site just now, but it was a dealership selling via the Internet.

Ranger1, any chance of resurecting that site? Might be worthwhile sometime in the future. TIA

Don't remember the exact site anymore. It was the same back end as the site showing the egr valve for 44 cents. Several dealers with web sites appear to use different web front ends to the same back end chrysler parts database. I would suggest googling chrysler or jeep part numbers (the egr part number is on this site in several places - use the search function) and check those out.

'just checked a few sites - all those that use www.trademotion.com have the 44 cent price. Looks like they pulled it. /used to list for around $200.

I just had mine replaced under warranty, the sheet I signed showed the price at $171 if I recall. I assume that was list, but it could be dealer cost.
