Subject line not long enough


Ok i am installing some rock rails this weekend, My question is

what sort of material shoiuld the bolts i use be

Stainless, Cad plated should i use metal and rubber washers as well

help an Aussie out guys

Stainless bolts aren't strong enough and they are brittle, grade 5 are tougher. I'd use grade 8 or better bolts. The minimum grade recommended for any automotive use is grade 5. Count the notches on top and add two for the grade bolt you have in your hand.
