Actually, if you could, I'd like to see what it is. I have a similar popping noise on my passenger side when turning, and it's not the CV or balljoints. it very well could be a loose bolt, that wouldn't surprise me much.

You got it - I tried to snap one tonight, but there is only so much light I can get in the garage.

Here it is - it was a 17mm bolt.

Funny thing too, it turns out that it was in my driver's side, but the noise could only be produced when pushing down on the passenger side of the Jeep. It's funny how our minds sometimes perceive sounds and where they come from.

Corwyyn hit the nail right on the head. Props to him.

That is what is getting replaced next week on mine too. The only difference is the bottom bushing on the sway bar link is worn out and allowing the bolt to pop up and down when I hit bumps. I'm getting new links, bolts, washers, and nuts thrown on Wednesday. I'll let you know if that fixes my problems

Anyone know if the CV's are covered under the 7/70,000 warranty. My 3/36K has passed. I have approx 42K on the libby and have started to here a popping noise when I turn at slow speeds 0-15 mph.

I am seriously worried that it is the CV's. LBJ are waiting to be replaced under the recall although they were replaced a year or so ago, about 12K under warranty.

I highly doubt it. I don't think the CVs are considered a part of the powertrain. Hopefully for your sake I am wrong.
