I have a two part question...how hard would it be to change my 05 sport with the black plastic flares, to having the body colored flares (if i could find all the pieces in a boneyard)...and how do i get wax off the plastic thats been there for months?

Thanks
glen

Too bad you don't have the renegade, I'd trade you. I have a Limited and I wanted the rene style fender flares.

Yeah, but then you don't get all the peanut butter out of the little knooks and crannies, then the dogs come up and start lickin' the fenders, then they decide to do their 'business' on the tires, then the next thing you know your jeep smells like stale peanut butter on a fire hydrant :?

You know... First I thought "What's up with all this PB BS, someone's got one heck of a warped imagination." Then, the other day I turn on a car show and they are talking about removing road tar with Peanut Butter! In all my years with cars I've never heard this! I just stood there with my mouth open! :o (then went and had a PBJ sandwich! - no lie!)

Used mineral spirits last week while I was prepping to repair some scratches on my car when I came accross some crusty wax embeded in the texture of my side mirrors. That and a little elb grease worked very well. The plastic is tough enough to stand up to the spirits, but the wax isn't. :P

PB? LOL, never tried it... Would Jelly brighten my shine?
