Well I started to install the snorkle from GibsonRM this after noon. I probably spent about 2 hrs all up to get to this stage.
It hasnt been as hard as I thought it would be.

I should have it finished tomorrow morning by smoko ;) !!

Keep watching for updates !!

looks good so far, keep us updated. When do you think the snorkel will be out for everyone to buy?

Yes, looking at all those pictures made me tired. But, I have to do something with my stock set-up so I don't ingest water/snow. Looks easier than the Boulder Bars I installed (still can't believe I didn't mess that up). I guess taking your time is the key. 8)

My 2004 Liberty Limited does NOT have that sensor for the security system. The only other jeep Ive ever seen that on is our 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Not even our 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited has that. :?

For some reason a hood switch is part of the export alarm system. Don't know why.

Man, i tell ya, they get all the cool stuff over there. Hood switch, crd, rear fog lights, better looking rear bumper and cool spare tire cover, I just do not understand why we cannot get all that stuff. :?

Better hitch, side indicators, Antenna in the back side glass, power fold in mirrors, heck you can get a CRD Renegade with a 6 speed in it! I am almost certain that they even have better service departments as well.

Looks good, I like the idea of the foam.

Are there a bunch of holes in the side of your airbox?

Yeah there was - have a look at the latest and final photos in that post.

I've just done a final update with a fair bit more info so make sure you have one last read. (and you'll see the pic of the holes all gooped up. Looks a bit messy but the box is closed so who cares :P!! )

This might be a stupid question, but doesnt it rain into the snorkel when you're driving?
