swap filters in the tranny, had one but not the right one, back
to the dealership.... a bit of wasted time. On the bright
side I know how to do it.

Next is the lift, bumper and winch.....

I'm taking my TJ in for the same thing next week. 450 bucks.

Oil, tranny, transfer case, both diffs. Not really ready to take this on myself right now.

If its under warranty, still use the proper stuff, ATF+4 in 2003 and up.
I used Valvoline ATF+4, and it took it , in both the transfer case and tranny.
Now depending on the tranny you'll need a new filter or like mine filters there
are two of them. The KJ 4x4's came with either of these tranny's, just go to your
local dealership and give them the V.I.N. number to be sure, and they will tell
you,so you are surprised when you remove the tranny cover...

Oh ya the one with 1 filter takes 4.2 ltrs, and the one like mine with 2 filters takes
a wopping 7 ltrs, thirsty,thirsty....

Up here in Canada the dealership wanted $661.37 all in, thats the 4x4 package.

Ya right , I did it for half. And doing it your-self you know your Renny/ KJ a bit
better...

I hope this helped you...
