Just doing some maintenance and was looking at the actual supplemental they added to my manual.

It says to check and replace this filter if necessary, but they dont say where it is! Does anyone know and has anyone found stuff in this filter?

It is on the passenger side fender about a foot forward of the firewall. It looks something like a small lawnmower fuel filter. I've never seen anything in mine. If you search for boost pressure solenoid filter and check the box for find all the terms, you will have pictures of it.

Any idea how to tell if this thing is going bad??? Of course why bother, probably on back-order anyways.

I'm pretty sure if it were plugged, it would make the release of the vacuum actuator on the turbo sluggish, but I don't know what symptoms that would produce. I guess a person could put a vacuum pump and gauge on it and test for restriction, but that sounds like a PITA.
